Celebrating Holi: The festival of colours
HOLI-Festival of love
On March 10th, at the end of a long tedious weekend was a day celebrated as the biggest festival in India, that is HOLI, the festival of colours. A day on which we experience an artificial rainbow in air. A festival that unites us, children and elders alike, the colours on each other making love and bonds more ionic.
Members of workplace sector-2 reached there by 8:00am, enjoyed with kids as we played with colours and danced together, the colours defining their amazing love and affection. We later distributed sweets and spoke about some safety precautions on COVID-19 .
The festive atmosphere extended to Sector-6 too, as colours celebrated a unique bond between the Aasraites and the kids. An almost 2 hour celebration panned out with colours, music, sweets and passionate dance moves.
At Sector-21, we celebrated Holi for about 2 hours in the morning with the kids. Like every year, we celebrated with enthusiasm and felt privileged for adding smiles on their faces. We went there with various colour packets and sweets. The kids were already drenched with colored water.Their merrymaking doubled in our company. We danced together celebrating a day that is going to be memorable for all of us. Later on we distributed sweets among children and gave them some advice which may add more colour to their life.
Besides studies, we at AASRA keep the children’s happiness on track with days like these adding smiles and we help keep the smile on their faces, motivating the children with greater energy for greater goals.
